Sports ZERO positive coronavirus cases confirmed in latest test in Premier League
The Premier League has confirmed that there have been zero positive tests for coronavirus.
The news comes after 1,195 tests were carried out on Thursday and Friday in the sixth round of testing.
It also means that there have been just 13 positive tests out of the 6,274 tests at Premier League clubs so far since testing began, which equates to 0.20%.
The latest results are the latest gigantic boost to the Premier League's Project Restart, and come a round after one unnamed Tottenham player tested positive from 1,197 tests.
There were also zero positive coronavirus cases in round four when 1,130 tests were conducted among Premier League clubs.
All but one of the positive tests recorded so far came in the first three rounds, including six individual cases involving three different clubs in the inaugural testing phase.
