I hawked bread for 3 years - Ogenyi Onazi
Denilispor Mildfielder Ogenyi Onazi narrated his childhood growing up and his family , and he cannot forget his root.
He said " it was not an easy journey , I cannot forget my root , my mom fry akara and she is a nurse , I hawked bread for 3 years and I go to afternoon school ".
And he also said about how life has been hard for him gaining his contract.
"I was dropped , it was never very easy , I grew up in jos and I had many trials was dropped from many trial , senior players encouraged and motivated me , T.B Joshua sponsored me and after the Under 17 world cup I was known".
"After the world cup , I also played many trials , in clubs like Panathinakos , Chelsea, Tottenham , I don't choose them because the deal was not okay it has all sort of issues that's why I didn't sign , Shortly Lazio called me after 2 trials and I was given my first contract."
"It was not easy , I worked with the youth team and opportunity came , after a senior player got an injury I was told to play and it was against Atlanta and we won 1-0".
And he was also asked how he has being able to settle down " I had to learn Italy because sometimes , I did will not eat because of it".
