KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTES FACE MASKS TO RESIDENTS IN HER QUEST TO SUSTAIN COVID19-FREE STATUS.

In continuation of efforts to protect our citizens from the global Covid-19 pandemic, the Kogi State Ministry of Health, yesterday 19/06/2020 distributed  face masks to Lokoja community targeting citizens at the highest risk of contracting the infection, including workers at Motor Parks and Communities around them, market women, motorcyle and tricycle riders.

The event which was the #Second_phase of such distributions was largely succesful. The residents were also taught how, when and where to use the masks as well as where not to use it. There is no doubt that the materials would go a long way in helping the people protect themselves aginst the ravaging pandemic.

We wish to reiterate the commitment of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello in protecting Kogites against the global pandemic. While noting the State is still Covid-19 free, we urge our people to continue to follow all protocols put in place by the State Government to curb the spread of the virus.
