Partey on arsenal rader , Guendouzi, Ceballos uncertainty

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey remains on Arsenal's radar this summer, with the club aware they may lacking in options by next season. 

Manager Mikel Arteta has stressed he wants more goals from midfield, and the fact Granit Xhaka found the net last night - while Ceballos scored the winner on Sunday at Sheffield United - is a testament to how they’re following his instructions.

ut Ceballos' future remains up in the air. His contract is due to expire this month, with the midfielder expected to return to Spain despite Arteta confirming there have been talks with Real Madrid. 

Meanwhile, Matteo Guendouzi was left out of Arsenal's 20-man squad for the third game in a row against Norwich, with Arteta stating "nothing had changed" to warrant a recall. 

If both players were to leave, Arteta would certainly be short of options.
