Liverpool urged to move for Thiago

Dietmar Hamann has urged Jurgen Klopp to transform his ‘workhorse’ midfield with the signing of Bayern Munich star Thiago Alcantara.
Liverpool have recently been strongly linked with a move for the Spain international, who is reportedly seeking a new challenge as he nears the end of his contract in Germany.
And Hamann believes he would be the perfect addition to a midfield that, in his opinion, currently prioritises graft over craft.
The former Reds man acknowledges, though, that luring Thiago away from Bayern could prove difficult.

“He doesn't quite fit the profile of the Reds' transfer policy at his age," he told Abendzeitung. "Regardless, a transfer would make sense in my eyes.
"Jurgen Klopp has more workhorses in his midfield with Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Naby Keita. He could use an intricate technical player like Thiago well.
"On the other hand, he will surely have a new contract at Bayern waiting to be signed. I would be surprised if he was not offered a lot to stay."
