City and United prepare for battle over defenders
Manchester City and Manchester United are both chasing the same centre backs this summer, according to The Independent.
Both have identified Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar as key targets.
City are still desperate to replace Vincent Kompany, who departed 12 months ago. Inter are interested in disucssing a swap deal for Skriniar which would see Sergio Aguero go the other way.
Koulibaly has been at the top of United's defensive targets for some time, and that interest could prompt a bidding war with United.
