Mbappe to Liverpool hopes over?

They were slim at best, but Liverpool fans' hopes of signing Kylian Mbappe this summer appear to be over after the PSG star was pictured on crutches.

The 21-year-old suffered an ankle injury after a late challenge from St Etienne's Loic Perrin during the Coupe de France final and was later seen hobbling about on crutches.

That would suggest Mbappe may face a race against time to be fit to play against Atalanta in the Champions League - and rule out any potential deal for the Frenchman this summer.
