Chelsea and City in for Digne

Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City are both targetting a move for Everton full-back Lucas Digne, according to ESPN. 

Both clubs reportedly view the defender as an alternative to Leicester's Ben Chilwell, who is valued at £75million. 

Frank Lampard is widely acknowledged to be keen to strengthen his options at left-back, with Chilwell a long-term target. 

Meanwhile, Guardiola is struggling with defensive issues of his own, with neither Benjamin Mendy or Oleksandr Zinchenko showing the required level of consistency. 

Everton signed Digne for £18million back in 2018 and would reportedly expect a high fee for the France international.
