Chilwell injury not set to scupper move
Chilwell is set to miss England’s Nations League matches with a heel injury, with Gareth Southgate to name his squad tomorrow afternoon, but it is not expected to obstruct the transfer.
Leicester valued the 23-year-old at £80m last season but, as first reported by Standard Sport, have been forced to drop their valuation after failure to qualify for the Champions League and with Chilwell keen on a move to west London.
The Blues are also expected to eventually complete a deal for Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz after their initial £58.6m bid was rejected last week.
