Arsenal eye Raya as Martinez replacement
Staying on the goalkeeper theme, Arsenal are supposedly considering replacements for Emiliano Martinez, who may be sold before the end of the current transfer window with Bernd Leno's return to fitness likely wrecking his hopes of continued first-team opportunities.
Current third-choice option Matt Macey is unlikely to be thought of as sufficient back-up for Leno, so a new signing would surely have to be made in the event the Argentine was to depart over the coming weeks.
Per The Athletic, the Gunners are admirers of David Raya, who performed brilliantly for Brentford last season following a summer move from Championship rivals Blackburn.
